Return Policy Al-Ihsan Medical Charitable Society in Jazan 1442 AH - 2021 Presented by The purpose of this policy is to define the principles and guidelines regarding the mechanism for refunding donations according to the donor’s wishes or in accordance with the Society’s policy and procedures. Scope This policy specifies the general responsibilities in the refund process and the specific responsibilities of donation collectors and donors, regarding the use of funds and the responsibility for them. Statement All donations are voluntarily given and in accordance with official methods, and the Society must ensure that all donations reach their rightful recipients and work to fulfill the donor’s wishes. Refund Mechanism: The refund mechanism is subject to the Islamic Shariah controls applicable in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which require the following: - Refunds can be made for amounts transferred to the Society by mistake. - Donations can be refunded within two working days from the date of donation, provided that the donation is not linked to a project being implemented at the moment of donation, to prevent the donation from being spent on the project. - Donations related to endowments or Zakat cannot be refunded. - If a refund is desired, a written request must be submitted to the Society’s management, explaining the reasons for the refund, within no more than two working days. - Refunds will be made through an appropriate method (the same payment method used for the donation) and as determined by the Society, within thirty days from the date the Society receives the requested information, minus any expenses or fees deducted from the donation amount or necessary for the refund process. Note: The Society has the full right to refuse to return funds to the donor if it is found that there was deception or bad intent by the donor or if the donation was made on behalf of another party.
